Through the The Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, CommunityWise is a depot location for the Good Food Box Program.The Good Food Box program allows community members to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at low costs.
Period Project
People with periods have diverse flows, needs, identities and much more. Period stigma is a hurdle people who menstruate still face. In fact, 50% of people are ashamed of speaking about periods when it is a natural reality for most people.
Knitting Club
In collaboration with ShareWarmthYYC, CommunityWise is proud to present the Knitting Club Workshop. This workshop will happen over the span of 6 classes where participants can learn how to knit!
Garden Club
The garden club is a group of gardeners who will form a collective that takes care of the new community garden. The Garden will be a collective garden which is a garden FOR and BY everyone in the collective. Gardeners will work together to plan what activities will be needed for the garden, will be planted, what will be done with the harvest and much more!
