Opportunities and Resources – Updated 5/27/26

ConnectED Parents is a free text-message program developed by Shift: The Project to End Domestic Violence at the University of Calgary, for parents and caregivers of kids and youth aged 6-20. We deliver 2-3 short texts a week with practical, bite-sized tips to help families talk about friendships, boundaries, and healthy relationships – no apps or extra materials needed.

The program is highly effective; 92% of past participants reported feeling significantly more confident starting these important conversations with their kids after their participation.
