CommunityWise is entering into its 44th year! Looking into the new term of operation at our shared non profit centre there is an even stronger need for organizational and social change.

We’re currently recruiting Board Members for the new term starting at our May 31 Annual General Meeting (AGM)! We invite you join and be a part of this!! The Board is the governing authority of the organization and is responsible for overseeing CommunityWise’s business. Individual Board Members represent the needs, interests, and visions of the communities and organizations involved in the building. In addition to this, the Board is a space of learning, connecting, and capacity-building. Time is built into the term for Board Members to receive training, orientation, and to get to know one another better.*applicants should be aware that Directors serve as representatives of their Member Organization on the CommunityWise Board.


We value having a diversity of lived experience, and paid and unpaid work experiences and skillsets on our Board. We’re particularly eager to connect with Members with the following experience and skillsets: 

  • Legal
  • Financial/Accounting
  • Facility Management
