The SGM to approve CommunityWise's most recent audited financial statements will be June 18th at 12pm in the board room. All members are welcome to attend. The regular Board Meeting will follow immediately afterward.
2. CommunityWise is getting a new Dance Studio floor!
In a few weeks, CommunityWise will have a new sprung floor installed in the Dance Studio. Special thanks to Fairy Tales and the Venezuelan Canadian Association of Calgary for the support along the way.
3. Front yard re-development
Beginning in the later part of June, the City of Calgary will begin re-developing our front lawn, along with that of our neighbours at the Beltline Pool and Fitness Centre. While the pool and fitness centre will shut down during the re-development, CommunityWise will remain open and accessible. We will be holding a ceremony to say goodbye to the trees that will be removed. Please stay tuned for more details! Email us at email@example.com with any questions or concerns.
4. New fire alarm and emergency lighting system has been installed!
Installation work is now complete with the exception of some overnight testing that will still occur. Thank you for your patience these past weeks.
5. Please leave a note when parking in the driveway!
Members parking their vehicles in the front driveway are reminded to please leave their phone contact information on their dashboards. Drivers must be prepared to move their vehicle for others to get out at any time.
6. Reminder: members charged a $25 – $50 clean up fee if we have to clean up after your booking
