Evaluations

Below are some examples of evaluative work CommunityWise has undertaken in an attempt to better understand the outcomes and impacts of our activities!

Anti-Racist Organizational Change (AROC): Most Significant Change

This report outlines the findings from the Most Significant Change activity that was held with the AROC Advisory Group and Working Group in 2018. The focus of this evaluation activity was to surface the learning and change that had occurred for individuals since they began their participation in one or both of these groups. This evaluation was prepared by Rida Abboud of Rida Abboud Consulting. The report can be viewed here.

Collaborative Framework Outcome Harvest

CommunityWise has developed a Collaborative Framework to amplify and formalize opportunities for member capacity building – both individual and organizational – through collaboration. The overall aim of the Framework is to increase the resiliency, collective efficacy, and sustainability of members via a continuum of collaborative opportunities while providing multiple flexible entry points for diverse participation in the CommunityWise community.

In 2016, CommunityWise completed an Outcome Harvest evaluation on the Collaborative Framework with the support of Roman Katsnelson of KRD Consulting Group. The report can be viewed here.

Collaborative Framework Preliminary Learning Report

This report provides a more fulsome reflection on what we learned in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Collaborative Framework as of April 2016. It was prepared by Robyn McLean of Tapestry Evaluation and Strategy. The report can be viewed here.

Social Work and Human Services Practicum Students Outcome Harvest

In 2017, CommunityWise completed a second Outcome Harvest evaluation, again with the support of Roman Katsnelson of KRD Consulting Group, about the experiences and outcomes of practicum students at CommunityWise. The report can be viewed here.

CommunityWise Member Survey

CommunityWise conducted a member survey in summer 2015. Representatives from 47 of our approximately 80 member organizations at the time (59%) filled out a survey. This report provides a summary of survey highlights for our members. Dheny Rivas, CommunityWise Summer Student, led the survey development and implementation, and Robyn McLean of Tapestry Evaluation and Strategy put together this summary report for members. The report can be viewed here.
