CommunityWise Members Memo

August 2015

1. Reminder – 2015 Member Survey

All members should have recently received an email link to the 2015 CommunityWise Member Survey. Please contact Dheny at intern@communitywise.net if we missed you. Survey results will serve a number of crucial purposes for the Staff Collective and member input is very valuable for increasing dialogue and democratic participation at CommunityWise. Thank you to everyone who has completed a survey so far!

*Only one survey needs to be completed per organization.*

2. CommunityWise Members Night – all members invited!

We're hosting another drop-in Members Night! Pizza, member trivia, highlights from the 2015 Member Survey, and performances from two of our members. This is also an opportunity for members to contribute to CommunityWise plans and policies.

            Tuesday, August 25, 2015

6:00pm-8:00pm (drop-in when you can); CommunityWise Common Room

            Please RSVP: erin@communitywise.net

 3. Construction update

Construction continues on the streetscape redevelopment. The project is currently on schedule. Electrical conduit for the lighting is in place. Gravel and tile/brick work will begin shortly.

Access to the front entrance is currently maintained from the driveway area. Coming later this month however there will be a period of time where access to the front door will be redirected. People will access from the wheelchair ramp at that time. Please follow signs.

We understand that this construction will cause some disruption and apologize for the inconvenience and problems this may cause. Maintaining your ability to continue to access the building for your important work is our utmost concern. Front door access to the building will be maintained during the project, however parking access in the driveway will not be possible.

Updates on the progress of the project will continue to be shared with members. Communicating this information to members of your communities would be greatly appreciated.

Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact CommunityWise staff.
